I was just leafing through the Limerick post and saw an item in the courts section that really made me sit up.

It seems that one "Garry Carroll" a former legal exec in town was arrested for stealing 260 grand from the law firm which he was a clerk at, even better was that Mr Carroll used the money to "feed a gambling addiction".

With people in this country struggling to break even in these uncertain times I find this disgraceful.

Of fucking course if you open a mortgage account worth €170,000 and move a combined total of €143,000 people will fucking notice, but this is to be expected after all it was the big lawyers and business men of Celtic-Tiger era Ireland who put this country on the slippery slope into the septic tank.

It's also worth a mention that the most enlightened thing that Mr. Carroll had to say for himself was oops "I fucked up".

Embezzlement is not a laughing matter and I was shocked then to read on and find out that the right honorable Judge Carroll Moran handed out a "three-year" concurrent sentence, WHAT A FUCKING JOKE, there are people getting put away for small public order offences for longer than what this tool is getting.

I think people like this man who royally bum-fucked Ireland into a depression (let's face it we're no longer in a recession), need to be taken out the back of the police station and shot repeatedly in the face.

However apathy will stop people from being angry about this; I on the other hand think this song sums up an appropriate punishment for these people.

There seems to be no suitable alternative to taking these people out behind the wood shed and kicking the shit outta them.

I normally have a lot of pics on my posts but not today. I was in town today chillin out with some of my friends when I decided to split and go look for one of the other lads that I was meant to be meeting up with today. I'd no sooner passed a department store in town trying to send off a text message when suddenly I was face to face with a person who was clearly in the depths of heroin addiction.

It was all fine and good he asked me for a euro and I gave it to him.

Then the fun stuff starts, he tells me he was in a car crash in Limerick a few weeks ago and was just out of the hospital number of 20€ notes withdrawn: 1.

He then proceeded to tell me how his brother was in a victim of a knife attack up the country and he needed money to help raise funds to put him to hospital.

Keep in mind I wasn't sure if he had a knife on him or anything I didn't even know whether or not I was going to be attacked regardless of if I gave him the money or not so I couldn't have ran away.

Any way the outlandish shit just kept on coming and coming until the fuck head walked away with 4 of my hard earned 20's, needless to say I went to the police and told them I was a victim of a pan handler but the Irish police in their infinite wisdom said I gave it to them of my own free will.

Now yours truly is not the kind of person to  belittle addiction, we all have our demons mine is the fags (Which since Christmas I have managed to quit), but this guy took the fucking piss; I know that people who get into hard drugs like heroin may have been decent and well to do people, but seeing this guy today made me really rethink that statement.

I have no problem giving a homeless person €2/3 for a cup of tea and a sandwich but when this guy who was probably on welfare came up to me like that I mean I know my money has just been spent on fuelling his addiction.

People who are dependant on such things are not in my own humble opinion fit to be on the streets any where in the world. People like that man who keep on taking and taking and taking and never once giving something in return.

The statistics for money spent on putting one addict through a course of rehab is a fucking joke. Those junkie fucks might put on the "I've changed my act I'll never shoot up again" face but in reality they get out they use again and more tax payers money gets shat out our fucking arseholes trying to get these muppets "clean".

Yo peeps what is the story  I'm here for another post but this time tis not about the same standard of shit you've come to expect from your's truly.

Yes it is indeed that time of year where we become more and more false, that being said it is indeed to be expected from a holiday stolen from my ancestors by Christianity but enough of that windy bollocks.

I just want to wish everyone the very best this holiday season for as predicted it will get much more strenuous for people of a certain financial situation like me this coming year.

the government have decided to cut unemployment benefits by around €30/40 which leaves me with next to fuck all to live off, my sister a soon to be single mother will be earning less.

But I want to keep things as happy as possible this post around, IT'S GONNA BE YULE IN 15 FUCKIN DAYS.

Just want to give a shout out to my closest friends on the facebook and the google +  YOU GUYS ARE FUCKING AMAZING where ever you are reading this stand up and take a bow for being such great peeps.

It seems that racism is alive and well in England

This really sickens me, it seems that in the 21st century that good ole fashion down home  racism is alive and well in London.

Are people still so fucking ignorant to pull this bollocks; and she was in this instance clearly the ethnic minority.

A man you might have heard of once had a dream that all people black and white were created equal under the eyes of god (yes he was a Christian but he is an idol of mine none-the-less).

If MLK was still alive today and was on that train he would be shocked and appalled to see that woman.

I guess the rehtoric she was spouting can be seen in every metropolitan city in the world; a person who never even thought to look for a job; who contributed nothing but expected it all. OF FUCKING COURSE she would blame minorities for the state she is in.

Now I never claimed to be the most tolerant person in existence but I will never be that intolerant to start off in a bus/train/tram packed full of non nationals, hell I've got friends who are foreign nationals and the common complaint they have black or white is that the scumbags like yer one in the video blame them for the crisis in the economy.

I'd like to say that that is bollocks.

Apart from the minorities targeted by this clearly mentally unwell bitch I feel sorry for her kid if she was like that at home I can only imagine that when her kid is my age he would be all mad(see the photo to the left).

Why wouldn't the social services pay that insane bitch a visit because clearly that is an obviously unwell environment for a child to grow up in, but the father is more in question than the woman herself.

The EU and the republic (or the lesser of two evils)

I had a conversation with an elderly street performer last weekend, he had quite the history; lifer in the army, member of sein fein, poet and in general he is a very wise man.

But that's not the point I'm trying to make, last time I spoke to him we spoke about the crisis in Ireland and Europe in general and what he said really hit me hard.

Biffo was the head of the most corrupt organisation in Ireland

"Europe has now become an empire," he said to me with quite a noticeable tone of biterness in his voice. "Europe like all empires is one of corrupt values and lax morals."

This stood me back a little but then I got to thinking what about our corrupt system at home, people like  Brian Cowen; a prime minister so uneducated and ignorant in the ways of political science that he turned up to a radio interview completely rat arsed drunk.

I also thought about how our current government seems willing to throw away any shred of economic sovereignty for the meagre price of euro-bailout funds.

This is not what the freedom fighters led by Collins and the "chief" fought and gave their lives for, to see the country they loved become the whipping boy for a whole fucking continent.

Now I'm not the most patriotic of people and let's face it here folks after the succession of two absolutely incompetent morons (one of whom lost his mother this week may the gods keep her well) I of course will use my right of freedom of expression to air my dissatisfaction with the way this country is being governed.

the Pathetic failings of a group and the death of a movement

Well the reason I started this new blog is because there was something I wanted to get off my chest and that is this.

For the last three or four months I have been watching the #Occupy protests with interest and even approval  but over the last few weeks as the wall street incarnation fell apart I changed my views.

The protesters say that the aim of #OWS is to create revolution but I say that they couldn't have been more wrong.

I'll put it to you this way did real revolutionaries like Dr. Ernesto "Che" Guevara topple a government in Cuba with an iphone??

Did Karl Marx and Fredrich Engels write the communist manifesto with a $1500 imac??

Were the principles of Socialism founded so that everyone could buy things they don't need??

The situation that sparked off the Occupy movement was largely created by the protesters themselves, they (that is to say you) thought that buying those pointless little fucking gadgets would make your lives better you spend $500+ on that flimsy shit which more than likely got broke when you got beat upside your capitalist hipster head when your camp was raided.

You people claim to be socialists BULLSHIT. Real socialists wouldn't need that kinda shit to spark off a revolution against corporate greed or economic inequity.

I'm a dedicated revolutionary I have never bought an iphone, never owned an ipod never used a mac or never felt the need to buy any of that over priced shit. I'm a part of the welfare state of Ireland and due to a fuck up at the welfare office I'm not going to have money for food or transport for two fucking weeks try and live for two weeks with no money or food only a fucking ipad and then we'll see how fast your philosophy changes.

That's all I have to say on that subject I hope you realize in time that while your intentions were good you like many other socialists with "good intentions"  were lead astray by human nature and the greed of consumerism.
